Karl Rove's election night melt-down over Ohio results on Fox News
This year over 50 million was spent on the Republican Parties bid to gain control of the White House and the Senate by some of the wealthiest Americans. But it was to be for naught because nearly all of the politicians backed by Karl Rove's Super PAC's lost. Karl Rove had a climatic meltdown over the election as you can see in the video. And I am sure he will have to answer some serious questions from the billionaire donors to his Super Pac. So what does that have to say about our countries political climate? And what does that have to say about a political party that tried to buy an election? Here is a breakdown of the winners and losers:
Sheldon Adelson, Republican, $53.7 million*
- Mitt Romney — loss
- Connie Mack (Florida Senate) — loss
- George Allen (Virginia Senate) — loss
- Allen West (House, Florida’s 18th) — too close to call, but leaning toward loss
- Joe Kyrillos (New Jersey Senate) — loss
- Shmuley Boteach (House, New Jersey’s 9th) — loss
- Newt Gingrich (GOP presidential primary) — loss
- David Dewhurst (GOP primary, Texas Senate) — loss Harold Simmons, Republican, $26.9 million*
- Mitt Romney — loss
- Connie Mack (Florida Senate) — loss
- Rick Santorum (GOP presidential primary) — loss
- Newt Gingrich (GOP presidential primary) — loss
- Rick Perry (GOP presidential primary) — loss
- David Dewhurst (GOP primary, Texas Senate) — loss
- Orrin Hatch (GOP primary, Utah Senate) — win
Bob Perry, Republican, $21.5 million*
- Mitt Romney — loss
- George Allen (Virginia Senate) — loss
- Connie Mack (Florida Senate) — loss
- Rick Perry (GOP presidential primary) — loss
- David Dewhurst (GOP primary, Texas Senate) — loss
Joe Ricketts, Republican, $12.9 million*
- Mitt Romney — loss It tells me that the American People has let the special interest groups know that we will not let our government be bought by these billionaires for their own personal gain. And whats the real reason they fought so hard to put these politicians in Washington? Could it be some of these donors are facing legal problems like Sheldon Adelson who is facing FCPA violations for money laundering and doing business with the Chinese Triad crime syndicate? And how about the Koch Brothers who have also allegedly violated FCPA regulations for European subsidiary involved in the alleged payments to officials in Africa, India and the Middle East. CEO Meg Whitman of Hewlett Packard is under investigation for alleged payments made by former employees to help a German subsidiary expand into Russia. Also the children of Sam Walton of Wal-Mart who are also facing FCPA violations. It seems these Tycoons thought they could buy a candidate that would loosen regulations so they could profit off of criminal acts and shady deals in foreign countries. What does that say about a party that puts the Holy Dollar above the people? Sounds like a party of crooks to me!!!!!!
