This morning I watched the jobless rate fall to 7.8% and I noticed the stock market volume was at above 13,000. And I thought back to the debates when Mitt Romney was saying that President Obama had failed at getting us out of the recession. Well I had to research what Obama has done and tried to do since he took office and this is what I found. Before the President took office he said his stimulus plan would keep unemployment at or around 8% but unfortunately the depth of the recession was greatly underestimated and that figure rose to over 10% in October of 2009. He passed the Health Care Law. He passed the stimulus Bill. He passed Wall St. Reform. He helped the Auto industry and recapitalized banks. He passed credit card reform. He nominated Sonjia Sotomayor. He increased stem cell research. He eliminated wasteful spending and he was tougher on Terrorist than his predecessor and all this by 2010. The following year Republicans took control of the house and as Mitch McConnell put it, made sure their job one for the next 2 years was to deny the President a 2nd term. And lets face it folks they have almost succeeded, or at least they think they have. They have blocked such bills as Tax on companies that send jobs overseas. The Political Ad disclosure Bill. The Small Business Jobs act that only passed the second time after they blocked it the first time around. The Jobs bill and the Vetrans Job Corp. Bill. Also they blocked the Vetrans Homeless benefits act and many more. So now we fast forward to Oct. 5, 2012 and we are fresh from the debates from 2 days ago when Republican challenger Mitt Romney had done a complete turnaround from the campaign policies he has been pushing for 18 months and a dismal performance by our President. But as of today we have an unemployment rate of 7.8% and the Presidents latest approval rating is at 54%. And how is that do you ask. Well watch the video and you'll understand just like myself and the the majority of Americans do. I see through all the Republicans efforts to tear down this country, all their smoke and mirrors and I see right through their Wall St. poster boy. The big question is what do you think is best for this country. See you on Election Day.
